(2019) – art installation + machine learning

A sensitive approach to data related to the activity of a car park, while capturing the flow of passers by their movements.

As part of an unprecedented partnership between Lyon Parc Auto and the Mirage Festival, the Chevalvert studio and designer Martial Geoffre-Rouland were asked to create an interactive and luminous installation called "Géologie des flux".

A machine learning system is detecting people movement and recording it. Various graphical experimentations are made using this data, representing in five different screens.
